yes, maybe 70A is a bit over the top, tim Wink

... but i'll need to power:
coil packs, 2 x CPUs, 4 injectors, bigger fuel pump, elec fan, etc
none of which the original electrical system was designed to accomodate.

and most of it needs 12V regardless of electrical load (e.g. rainy night, demister+wipers going flat-out, lights on hi-beam, etc... ).

however, your concern about my willingness to over-engineer is appreciated Wink
