some good ideas, thanks.
switching the idle pulley seems like a good idea.
in regards to using the stock bracket, to be honest i never even thought of that after all the conversion stories ive read with people saying its a drama getting the altenator bolted up i just assumed you couldnt use it.
also i wouldnt mind the altenator being higher up, not for the fact thats its too close to the swaybar rather that im worried about it getting excess water in it.
