Thanks heaps for your offer pete, but I gave IDB in melbourne a call, as they are the guys I bought the brake package off, and explained to them my situation.
I told them how I'd bought the brake package over 2 years ago, and how the hub was off centre, and I just wanted to know if they could supply me with another one.
Yep, no worries they say, we're getting a load of these in today, give us a day to clean 'em up & paint 'em, & then we'll pick out a good one and send it up to you, if you just send us back the bent one.
How's that for service?
Of all the car related places I have dealt with, these guys have got to have the best customer service by a mile. The first time I rang them, to find out about this brake package, before I'd even got to asking about the brakes they had already offered to arrange a drive for me in a customers celica that was fitted with a 4A-GZE (also before I'd told 'em I live in Sydney). This was from just casually mentioning I was putting a 4A-GE in mine.
Anyway, I just wanna give 'em a well deserved plug, it's a refreshing change to find someone so helpful in the auto industry. If anyone needs parts or info for old celicas, give these guys a call.
