the only problem with these speakers is that they have a large structure the magnet circumference is about 4- 4.5 inches by itself. so im building up some pods but the magnets still stick out the bottom and the only way i can see it happening is by going at it with a hacksaw blade (yay  ). so what im really asking is will cutting up the metal in the parcel shelf really stuff up my car's rigidity? i have heard that it can.
Norbie: sis you put the speakers in the 4x6 factory holes or did you put them in the next ones along with the fuel lines in the way?
