Rex_Kelway Forums Junkie Location: Adelaide Registered: May 2002	Re: HELP: Wheel sizes, offset and stud pattern sizes for AE86 Sun, 30 March 2003 01:08 If you want to go low, then anything 8inches wide at an offset of 0mm +/- 15mm or so will foul the bodywork/suspension I believe that 8 inch wide rims are what i would refer to as 'stupidly wide'. To be honest i reckon you're going to have trouble. Eg: (1) If you have a larger positive offset the scrub radius is going to go through the roof which with an 8 inch wide rim is going to put massive stress on the steering system, not to mention your arms. (2) if you keep the offset close to the stock then they will foul on the strut/spring. You simply cant win I would suggest getting wheels to fit your car properly (ie not 8 inches wide) instead of trying to fit some, if you get what i mean. [Report message to a moderator]
