Go for Broke Results.

Well, the weather held out, the traffic was minimal, & everything pretty much went according to plan.
We had a nice early meet up at Baulkham Hills, where I took the opportunity to put a nice big gash in my leg & finally get to use my first aid kit (yay, not). After distributing the supplies for the day, which consisted of: a 3 burner BBQ, 3 eskies of drinks & 1 of meat, a 9Kg gas bottle, 1/2 dozen loaves of bread plus all the surplus supplies, which was severlely weighing down my little celica, about 18 of us (including a nice blue datto 1600) headed off to Windsor to our first stop.
Here we met up with another 2 dattos, both pretty schmick. I especially liked the one with the almost identical orange paint job to my car.
Anyway, we hit Putty Rd & had a real nice run, & made our first stop at the Putty rd Halfway House, where we were greatly entertained by the ancient petrol bowsers, and Troyboys inability to operate them!
So we forged on, up the second half of Puttey rd, which is definitely the better half, but got stuck behind a big ass old shitbox XD Falcon, right before the best bit!!!
No matter, it was a good chance to enjoy the scenery.
Eventually we made it to Broke, where barbie was fired up and lunch was prepared. Luckily we had the whole pcnic area to ouselves, so disturbing family picnics with 20 or so hotted up cars wasn't a worry.
A really big thank you goes to the cooks, the butterers, the supplies carriers & everyone else who helped out.
After lunch we played around with the cars, moving them all together for a big group shot.
After that we packed up & headed off toward Cessnock.
These roads through the Hunter Valley were a bit bumpy & rough, and the traffic a bit heavier, but there was plenty to look at.
Cessnock was our next stop, & after cruising through town we discovered the spread of rice through our country is as far spread as Cessnock!
Never mind, there were still plenty of traditional Aussie bogans around, ready to flip the bird at the threatening 4 cylinders.
Out of Cessnock we hit the freeway & headed home making a short stop at the big Caltex along the way & ending out journey at Maccas for dinner.
Thanks to everyone that came, keep an eye out for the next one too.
