You want a W58 in your car. If you get all the bits, then it'll be no hassle. You'll need to remember stuff like the pedals, clutch hydraulics, centre console trim, etc. etc.
MX83 can be converted to manual using supra parts - the place for the clutch cylinder is on the firewall, and the other stuff will work out with some fiddling. Remember, it's only in australia that they are auto only - there are such things as manual JZX81 chasers, even if they are hard to find.
I'd suggest you leave the ma61 supra/celica parts alone, yes the box will work but nothing else will (I don't think anyway!)
