Yes its a good idea, but i dont want to seal it in like that, too hard to access.

i wish i had a pic of the one on my old car, made it outof aluminium and glued the thing in, with a foam strip to seal against the bonnet, 02 rush pod filter fed by a 4 inch cold air intake, the whole thing was sealed!

In winter the thing sounded like a jet turbine winding out!! It made a massive difference!!!

This was all in an effort to prevent buying a pod filter!

The new engine will get a pod though and a sealed box Smile
