Draven, the crank angle sensor is way down low on the RHS. It is tucked in behind the crank pulley and the cam belt tensioner. What is visible of it looks like this:

If you were to undo the bolt and pull it out, all you'd see is a small silver cylinder a couple of centimetres in length.
The cam angle sensor(s ?) simply has to be in the head. My 2JZ only has one. It looks like this:

The cam angle sensor is between the 5th and 6th injector on the intake cam side of the head on the outer side.
