THe closest capital city to me is Melbourne and will be there on the Easter holidays for car related stuff. I also have a bodgy CD player too. It didn't work at all and I bought a CD player cleaner and it works a bit now but one guy I talked to said CD players...especially older ones have a lifespan and can wear out the laser. I really like the idea of having the standard head unit as most Double DIN units have too many lights and look cheap...what I call it "wank factor". I read in todays Herald Sun that lasers can cost $150 or more Seems too expensive to me. And how about fequency converters. Are they easy to install? I hate not being able to pick up many stations (I can get the 2nd JJJ station that isn't as clear that is not too bad) especially with such a great sound with the sub woofer and no CD player.
