Both speedo and tacho can be made to work.

Speedo - Just take the electronic speedo drive off the gearbox and swap it over with a mechanical one, then just simply put your cable back in. I think the old mechanical one on your box should fit, not 100% sure on that one though.

Tacho - Need to get a converter box. Some people on here sell them.

As for changing to a twincam dash, think you mean cluster?? I think it would be a good idea. Because the carby clusters dont have a check engine light (good for diagnostics). Also I pulled one out of my seca wreck to have a look and it doesnt have a speed sensor on the speedo. I dont know how not having the speed sensor wire hooked up on a gze effects it. I think the check engine light stays on, But if you have a 4ac cluster then you want see it, since you dont have a check engine light Laughing

Another thing is, i plug a carby cluster into my gze, let it run for ages and ages, let thermo kicked in, and the temp gauge read 1/4

Then I plugged a Twincam cluster in and let it run, let thermo kick in, and temp gauge says 1/2. So I THINK the temp gauges are calibrated differently.

So yeh, prob a good idea to get the twincam cluster.
