I picked one up the other day for $20 and have started doing it back up to factory specs then a mild port and polish.
I have triple faced all the valves myself and they are tighter than a nuns %^&$%. The head has yet to be decked using the 8.7:1 pistons and balancing the bottom end. I have a set of lower compression pistons out of a geu which i will keep for the conversion to supercharging if it ever happens. It will be running solexes until i get it running properly with electronic ignition then it will either get a set of webbers (40's) or efi which i am also in the process of collecting.
Most people have one or two projects before they get serious and this one is going to be mine.
