Hey bud, I had an RA28 with a 1GGTE in it, I ran the intercooler pipes vertically either side of the radiator. On the radius rod brackets, there are metal tabs which can be folded out of the way to give a triangular opening. I know it will drop the pipes below the radiator support crossmember, but even with the car lowered I had no clearance problems.
