I can't find a pic, but there are types of spacers that bolt ONTO the original studs, and have a set of studs embeded into itself which the wheel bolts to. There are the better type of spacers as you don't have longer studs that will bend under load.
I think 40mm is too large an offset. However, some investigation or a response from somebody who has tried will clear it up. Untill you know for sure, don't rely on my "I think.."
Try wrecker's for AE86 rims. I picked up my rims for $95 (all four). They were on a Sigma (of all cars) and are 2 piece MORE rims. For what fits: 15x7 +- 0mm is the starting point. Go from there.A friend has SSR 15x7 -2. FAT DISH, but don't expect to see many of these around.
Those 'initial D' rims are Watanabe rip offs. Don't expect a set unless you know somebody who knows SOMEBODY. They are ~$600 a piece ex japan new. Search the old forums for 'watanabe' and see how many times ppl have tried to find a set. The same friend use to have Watanabe's: nice, but not worth the cost or initial D hype, personally.
Best of Luck, Jaz
Oh, just re-read your post, isn't the N13 4x100 PCD?
