I have a 1GGTE, it is now in a 1983 BMW I have also put a EMS called a Stinger. Iam currently trying map the computer but am not having much success, at first I had no boost but now I have 5 pound which is not enough and the engine is still flat as a tack, it is as if it is so retarded it just does not want to go. I have the cam timing set at 10 deg advanced and every thing set the way I think it should be, I have spent 12-15 hours on the dyno and have still had no joy. Need help please!!
So if someone has put an after market computer on a 1GGTE and has had some success it would be good to here from you.
Plus I have a second engine I would like to strip down do up and rebuild, so again if there is anyone that could tell me how and where to get parts ie: gasket kits rings pistons etc.
