i've got a 1UZ and am in desperate need of an adaptor for the AFM so that i can fit a Pod filter to it.

http://www.alsc.aus.as/messages/3/6834.jpg

As you can see the AFM is square....the screw holes are 2" x 4" apart (which is roughly 5cm x 10cm) and i can't seem to find an adaptor for it...they are all the wrong sizes.

is there any other cars that have the same measurements for their adaptor screw holes?
or does anybody know where i can get one?

was looking for something just like this:
http://www.lexuspros.com/images/intakeadapter.jpg

as the engine is for a transplant...not in a Soarer.

I don't know the sizes exactly, but I found in on Ebay in the US under air filters for cars

yeah, sorta like that.

but i need one the right size, plus i'd prefer it'd be in Australia somewhere.

just save a lot of time being here already.

you can buy them from car shops everywhere. personally I couldn't be bothered spending $50-$60 on an adaptor so I made my own using stainless steel, only cost me $5.

if you buy a uni-filter then you get the whole mounting kit and everything so you just bolt it straight onto the afm, takes about 2 minutes!!!

Urgh! Imagine what that'd do to the airflow?! Get something that's tapered!

I got a Uni-Filter one, and as stated above, it comes with everything ready to bolt up. Including a mounting bracket ! Price was quite reasonable too.
