I have someof an 88222 head. It is missing 1 valve and the cam caps are all missing  Some idiot had it rebuilt then lost the caps. Not sure why you are chassing the 88222 head specifically but if what i have there is any help to you and you can pick it up (I am in Sydney) then its yours for $60.

i dont mean to destroy your chance of sale but a head with out the cam caps is a very big paper weight.
the cam tunnel is matched bored and you cant just slap different caps on as it will be matched to a different tunnel.

No worries at all and you are right, The cost to have a head and caps line bored is more than a 2TG head is to buy. I only keep it for the valves and incase someone requires it for Historic Rallying. Only the 88220 and 88222 heads can be used for Historic Rally as they were the only ones released in the TA22.
