You could possibly make up a flange adapter, 'cause the studs of the CT20 would fit within the flange of a CT26. It really depends on your application, ie, CT20 to CT26 manifold or vice versa. if you want specific dimensions just ask!

The reason I ask is because I happen to know someone who has been making some turbo manifolds and he will be making one for me! But he has been making them to suit the CT26 whereas my turbo is a CT20B!
Maybe I should just send the turbo gasket and be done with it?

depends. there are two common CT26s.. the 7M supra job, single entry round flange..
and the 3sgte (mr2, gt4) job.. which has the identical twin entry flange as the CT20b from the same engine
so.. it depends what version of the CT26 the manifold is made for

So if the CT26 the manifold was for was from a 3S-GTE the CT20B would fit?

bingo. yes thats correct.
eg. US MR2 crowd is very familiar with replacing the gen II 3sgte's CT26 with the gen III's CT20b as it is a direct bolt on - flanges are the same.
however, if you're talking about 3sgte's... a gen II manifold will not bolt to a gen III (ST205) head. the stud pattern and ports are all different.
if the manifold is definately designed for your head and a CT26 turbo flange then you're in luck!

The CT26 from the Gen II 3SGTE in both the MR2 and GT4 has the same exhaust manifold flange as the CT20B. The dump pipe flange on the CT20B has one extra stud but you can still interchange dump pipes. There can be some wastegate clearance issues though so check that the wastegate still opens fully once the dump pipe is fitted.
I have run a CT26 turbine housing on the Gen III 205 engine no probs.
