Current:

1976 RA23
18RG Motor (currently being rebuilt)
5 speed
Extractors
Ported / Polished
Paseo seats
The dream:

3sgte (aiming for 300 or so horses -- though may not be that high in the end - I want to drive it on the street ya know!!
disc brakes all round
Pearl blue to purple ^ as above.
Custom interior - including dash, console, transmission tunnel, removal of rear seats for custom sound enclosure.
Big sound system

ATM - doesn't run
Hence the rebuild
Due to the previous Owner doing a dodgy build - the bottom end was starved of oil - in short...
see well knackered conrod, camshaft, the big ends were rooted.
once its all rebuilt should be good for 150 odd horses at the wheels...
before I blew the bottom end out of it - went hard...DAMN hard

Btw - its more than just the steering wheel and wheels that are begging for some work....
I need the following:
mags
steering wheel
short shift kit *I'll probably just chop the stick*
race pedals the whole works
checker plate flooring etc etc etc

Because power increase was just what I was talking about...
ooh yes and while I'm on the way to ricing up my dear little celica, howabout I put on some headlight tinting, a 44" dump, lower it so its undrivable and then say its the fastest thing on the road...
why not go one step further...I'll put pizza cutters on the front, tub it on the back put huge ass slicks on it, lock the diff, and then use it for hill climbs.
Or perhaps you should just read the first post that I did - when I mentioned that I am planning on putting in a 3sgte that will be good for around 300hp......
Not everything that has checkerplate flooring is rice...

[ UPDATE ]
I got my baby back yesterday - fully rebuilt 18RG - now I just gotta get it EFI so I can punch it at low revs
I think EFI should tide me over till I can save enough cash to do the 3S-GTE transplant properlly.
Whoot!!
Though $2060.00 later for the rebuild - stupid expensive 18RG's (and I got charged at a fairly discounted rate)
somewhat Whoot
