Just wanted to say hi -I'm a new member from Melbourne and just bought a ST162 Celica SX. Its an awesome car (T-VIS is cool!).
Anyway, I'm fully obsessed by it (the car) at the moment so I'm hoping you guys don't mind answering questions because i've got heaps!

From what i gather tvis is designed to give the car more torque at lower rpm. Not sure how exactly, but it halves teh area that hte intake air can pass threw making it move quicker. Then at higher revs it opens up and lets full airflow

TVIS, low revvs - 4 intake valves, greater torque, high revvs 8 intake valves, higher volume of air
