Captive springs? Wed, 28 April 2004 21:29 Go to next message
Just got a RWC on my TA22 and the two things they found wrong were:

1: Nil Accelerator Pedal
2: Rear springs not captive

I broke the accelerator pedal very early on in the piece trying to get it off and the plastic around the little metal ball in the floor broke. Now I have an accelerator cable instead of linkages. Anyone got Any bright ideas? (aside from sourcing a genuine pedal)

2: The rear springs are 1" lowered king springs. Other than putting genuine height ones back in, has anyone got any ideas which would make it pass inspection?

Cheers,
Jeremy.

1. Get the right pedal or change the whole assembly to one that works

2. move your lower shock mounts or change shocks.
