Mate, don't trash his sale. I think the car is worth at least $500-1000 if its in that condition.
We live in a capitalist society and making or losing money from cars is part of life.
Theres no laws about selling things at the same price you bought them for.

I'm not trashing his sale mate ...
He said make an offer and I have made one - it is a genuine offer.
I did try to buy it when it initially came up for sale but the original seller told me he had it on hold for a mate even before the Toymods ad was put up when I rang him.
I know a couple of other car sales on these forums for which people have asked twice as much for what they paid for their cars and I don't go thrashing those sales.
I've done my research, know what was paid for it - now why would I want to pay more?

No thanks,
I have spent almost as much money as I paid for it and time on it since then so I don't think so. Plus I have already had two offers higher than that and I have refused them both.
People like you amuse me - what are you columbo ? You know what was paid for it congratulations go buy yourself something to celebrate. I wasn't the 'mate' he was holding it for either - that sale fell through, I guess I was just in the right place at the right time unlike you.
Good luck in your search for a $300 KE20 in this cond.
and poida I wouldln't worry too much mate theres got to be at least one cockhead on every forum.

Yeah, at least I know when I'm being ripped ...
Don't matter cause my KE20's a minter and once you factor in the alloys + spare motor + gearbox which came with it, I would only have paid a little bit more than the original $300 you paid for yours.
Was only looking for a spare parts car as a back up, just like the 2nd AE86 I bought this week way below market price so I'm already celebrating.
Nuff said here - Head's so swollen I can't pull it out of my arse now so I'm out ...
