Rolla has been FOUND!!! Mon, 30 August 2004 14:06 Go to next message
Red 1985 AE82 SX SECA
Stolen between 7pm and just before 11pm tonight (Monday, August 30)
Rego is UAQ-706
it is covered in dirt, crappy grey plastic bumpers, loud ass exhaust driver side passenger door has a dent in it, the front bar is a bit bent, and the passenger side indicator in the bumper is broken.

It was stolen from Cecil Ave in Castle Hill, on the Maccas side, not the Castlewood side.

If anyone sees it around could you please contact me:

Also does anyone know of places I can go looking for the car, as I have no idea where to start looking? And I know from Audioslavers experiences that the cops won't do much for me.

Thanks guys.

Re: HELP ME...Someone Just Stole The Rolla! Mon, 30 August 2004 15:07 Go to previous messageGo to next message
A lot of the time they turn up not too far from where they get stolen. I live just down the road and I was having a bit of trouble sleeping tonight, so I did a few laps of the area and checked a few backstreets but no luck I'm afraid.

It seems like a LOT of cars are being stolen from that area. Take care people!

Whitcy,

Where's Stanhope Gardens again? that is local right?

I know for a fact that these are the SAME thieves that did my car, because of the manner in which it was stolen/where it was dumped/how.

PM'd you

You know what would be really handy.

If someone went over the last years stolen car threads
and pinpointed ON A MAP the dumping locations.. then posted them on here!

If someone wants to give me exact locations I'll compile the map. heh.

You guys are lucky.
My N14 SSS and AE93 SX Seca were both stolen and never recovered. Thank your lucky stars.

Glad it was recovered! Stanhope gardens is not very far away at all. 5-10mins away. As I said, they always tend to be recovered fairly close to the original site - which is why we need to all help eachother and get out there looking.

Was it the police who found it for you?

I'd say it was most probably someone in the area that called the police about the car being suspiciously left there.

It seems as though these local thieves are just wanting to take the car to the nearest safe haven to strip the car of any valuables.

My car was stolen from the Tafe and recovered near the hills centre. So I'd say they are circulating around that radius on early weeknights... Mon-Wed

This is probably the 5th car that has been done in the area, so only time will tell for these dickless pricks Mad

I'm very close to Stanhope Gardens so for future issues of this sort I'll do the laps around home as the area has alot of new road developments and places that don't see many passers by.
Post it up as early as possible and I'll be in the search party.

Seems to be a big increase lately... Oh well up go insurance premiums again. Crying or Very Sad

Don't pick on the cows! The only thing stopping me is having to lug an oxy up there otherwise they would be in the front yard.

On a more serious note the plebs from that area tend to steal cars post movies from castle hill and dump them when they get home. It was probably out front of their house, they then called the cops as they didbn't want it taking up the parking spot next week.
