Basically a sister thread to my engine thread, and for the fact I'll probably never need them (famous last words!), I'll offer the following gearboxes for sale:
FWD C52 with open centre
FWD C56 with open centre
FWD E58 with open 4 pinion centre (474 gearset)
Auto 30/41LE, from 1UZFE'd UZS141(?) Crown
Auto A30, from MS85 Crown
RWD W58 (steel sandwich plate), 18" shifter position.
RWD W55 (steel sandwich plate), 18" shifter position
Prices via email or PM please?! Frieght anywhere is also possible!

silly question i suppose but can the FWD c52 as you describe (from AE93 i guess?) be mated/used in an AW11 (RWD) MR2?
i know my NA AW11 box is a c52 but i wondered about this item, i know theres the FW and RWd versions of the gearbox but i had always wondered if they were interchangeable.

You'll need to change the shifter mechanisms I believe, though never having bothered to do this, I'm sure there's more to it than that - try a search for info in the "Tech and Conversions" section, as once again, this thread is not the appropriate place for such a question!

The E58 can come with cut shafts, but I don't have a complete set spare sorry.
List updated also - must admit, I'm kinda surprised the plate LSD box hasn't sold.

Out of interest, how does the plate/clutch LSD differ from the Viscous?

This centre is a TRD, Cusco, or Kaaz style unit and more responsive than the viscous stuff - I've pulled the box apart to confirm the style of LSD for another guy who wanted it, but he's not got back to me, so it's for sale, after doing all that work!?! I haven't pulled the ring gear off the centre so can't comment on actual manufacturer - I reckon I've spent enough itme on this box for no return as yet.

Clint - when you were pulling apart all your gearboxes.. did you find a decent clutch to suit 7M -> W58 ??
