i didn't think an ADR'd seat and seat mount should fail in accident?

yes the guy's luck he didn't have the door crush him when it creased inwards- but having the seat disconnect from the runners is not a good thing either - if he'd had a head on, they would have found him impaled on the s/wheel and dash?

regardless of that, one very luck guy.
