Hey guys thanks for the replies. I paid $1300 which was alright. And it also included all those spare parts i had up for sale. I sold them for $600 the stuff i didn't need. SO it really only cost me $700. PLus i got two brake upgrades with all those spare parts and a 22mm sway bar.
Its is pretty good condition but like PMP020 said it needs some fixing up. Yeah the guy who first fixed it up got a mate to spray but unfortunately the guy didn't prepare the body and painted strait over. Its alright i can't complain for what i paid.
Cheers

I hope whoever put the mazda rims on the car ground out the centres on the front wheels. Otherwise, it will be a bugger to get em off.
Looks sweet and reminds me of my first corolla.

Hey mate. I got a choice of either T18 struts or Sprinter struts. I am thinking the t18 struts cause i have heard they are pretty much strait in.

Can I ask why you're using a KE55 Diff? It's going to be no stronger than the one you have in there know. If you want to upgrade, you need a TA22 at least, being the next size up. I'd be interested if you know something I don't....

I need a different size stud pattern. Current is 4x110 but i want 4x114 to match my strut pattern.
It'll do for now once the conversion is done then i'll probably upgrade when i upgrade the engine.

Ahhh, I see! I never bothered doing that with mine, although with the TE37 as well, I'm going to do it shortly to keep the tyre situation under control. I was just going to swap axles and brakes, or is the backing plate a different pattern? I haven't got that advanced yet. Let us know how you go....

For now i'll stick with the ke55 until something else pops up.

Go the KE25's!!
Careful with the KE55 diff..they arent that strong and they are a little wider than the original diffs-lipping the guards solves this though.
Goodluck with the rest of the conversion mate..

Is that your 25 in your avator?
The diff will hold up long enough. I'm not gonna thrash it that much

Update: Well i'll be getting the struts and diff next week! Also the struts have been setup to run about 3 degree neg camber! I think the brakes may be a bit of over-kill tho. The disc rotors are pintara cross-drilled and vented plus it had commodore calpiers with Bendix ultimate pads!! PLUS i get a free set of wheels chucked in when i buy the package!!
I'll take some pic's of when i get them,
Cheers

Megz wrote on Fri, 22 April 2005 00:23 | Well i have had a few change's of my plans for the car. But i finally i have worked it all out.
I will be buying a set of Celica struts with pintara discs and another type of calipers with Koni inserts also which bolts straight into my car(I can't wait) Which means i am getting rid of the T18 struts(If anyone is interested please let me know, i need to get rid of them quick).
Once i get the new diff and struts i will put pics up

Nah mate i am changing to these other struts, it was too much work.

Yeah Ta22 diff, locked with baffles in there to stop oil surging to the ends of the diff.
Not sure if there is a point to upgrade to these but i bought them modified like this.
Yes i know it may be overkill (A tad bit of overkill) but i think they will go well to pull up my trusty 4k

So when you think everything is going well and you should be able to start the conversion soon, something comes along and kicks you in the balls. And so it gets put back again. A few things have come up so the conversion is planned for 25th June. I am getting so disheartened by the whole thing that i wanna give up on it. But i will keep pushing on until it is done or i have driven it off a cliff in rage.

Yeah i know, it is a very tidy job.
I have just been thru the national park with a few of my mates. And i was able to keep up with a GZ20 soarer . I was pushing the shit out of it but i was keeping up on the downhill then when it went up the soarer took off!!! Oh well the 16v will be in soon hopefully, then it will be a killer!.
