hey guys, im new to this forum and my name is justin. Hopefully this is posted in the correct part of the forum
anyway, i am in the market for a project car, i was just wanting to ask for some tips on where to look, or if u r interested in getting rid of your slightly bunged up car, or sick of your project, Please notify me wiht details and price.
My budge is pretty low as i want this to be a project car, but hopefully some one can help me. I am really only interested in cars in Melbourne, or Sydney if it is a great deal, but not really keen for cars in Queensland or the western parts of Australia.
anyway, im sorry if this seems like a noobish post lol but i was just wondering.........
BTW, i am only really interested in toyotas, not really in the market for a commodore etc.
thankyou once again,
Justin

errmmm this is gonna sound dumb, but really 2 grand is pushing my limit, and i live in tasmania so i have to add transport onto that.
sorry about the rock bottom budget lol
but yes, i would DEFINETLY love a sprinter, but i know i prob wont get one lol. Or a corolla i would also adore. Im more into toyotas then anything else so i would like to stick to them.
thanks for your polite reply mate

You can get plenty of cars for $2000, i thought you were going to say $200 , so do you want the old corollas-RWD or newer-FWD?.

wel really i wanna spend around 1 grand-1.5, cause that pluse transport easily makes up my two g's.
i would prefer old stuff, with the RWD.......lotsa potential
i have a mate who knows a lot about corollas, and he is helping me, but i thought if i went public i might get some offers
thanks!!!

hey guys, i found a car today which i am pretty keen on....
here are the stats, could you all please tell me whther you think it is worht it or not?
KE70 Corolla 1984 model, 300 kays, 4-K engine and the 4 speed box. RWD of course...and with the ever popular beige colour
anyway, the bloke is asking $900 negoitable, i would prob offer around 700, due to the fact that i would like to wack a 4AGE in, instead of the wheezy alternative. Its also a "high cam" though i do not know what importance this serves?
body is good, but one of the side protective strips is gone.
thx everyone!

300,000k's you mean... or were you talking about top speed?
That HI-CAM thing is just a wank.
Take the other protective strip off, doesn't help most of the time anyway.
