HKS cam gears 1j 2j * GIVEN AWAY*	Sun, 17 April 2005 20:40

I have three cam gears for sale. 2 exhaust and one inlet. All showing signs of wear. They are HKS and the annodosing has worn off. I purchased some jun style gears and when i bought my hks cams these were part of the deal. Apparently 6 months old. S.E Melb. one sold to me (maybe 2 - depending on condition) Very Happy

preferably the one with the LEAST wear on the teeth

pics (close up) along the line of the rib/teeth showing how much wear there is, would be appreciated

The third one is still on my car. Hopefully the cams go on this weekend with the new gears. Then the last one will be available.

The anodising has been worn off and there is a very small amount of metal wear. You can feel it but it looks flat if you look across it. [Report message to a moderator]

I am thinking of giving two of them to my brother. I know the material is not durable, but i figured for the money they were not a bad deal, get 30K out of them. I will try for a better picture to show the wear level. I will have one for sale anyway. Make an offer. Do not expect these gears to last forever. Probably best to view them first if you are local. I figured the only way to get rid of these things without any possible bad feeling was to give them away. That way if/when they do wear out then its ok, because they were free. SO thats what i did. Replied to all PM's [Report message to a moderator]
