i wanna know if the engine mounts from a te37 would be right for the 2TGEU?
also wat gearbox and diff should i use?
should TA22 struts with cressida disks have enough stopping power for like 100rwkw.
PCD for TA22 struts?
and would lenso CFs 17'
offset of 40, PCD 100 or 114.3, these fit?

I'd say the engine mounts would be the same if not very similar, considering the TE37 came out with them stock,
Probably look at the T-50 Gearbox, pretty common easy to get parts for etc, as for diff i couldn't help you there,
I have heard of Lenso CF's fitting not sure tho,
Cheers and have fun

It's not so much the engine mounts. The actuall te37 crossmember is different to our ke models. You can sit the 2tg on the ke crossmember using ta22 engine mounts, but the motor will sit to the passenger side slightly. jonny2tg has some info on this on his web page. I used modified engine mounts rather than modifying the crossmember. Same result.
t50.
yes that strut combo will have enough i would say.
the pcd on a ta22 is the same as a ke35/55.
17's would be too big imho

I've got superlights on mine, and I like the look of them. But if you go fairly low, you will find you will have to do some guard modification to stop scrubbing, if they are the wider offset.
I think there is a hilux lsd that isn't too hard to obtain. It's out of the early 2wd utes? I haven't done much research into it. I did do a little research into t series difs though, and found that I could by mech lsd centres second hand pretty cheap. And the t series difs aren't hard to find. Depends on how much mucking around you want to do. Problem is buying a second hand lsd dif centre for a t series you don't really know what condition it's in untill yuou get it.
I'd be more inclined to look into the hilux dif.

yeah the hilux diff is what i was thinking.
do u know what series hilux those old 2wd are?
i was thinking of putting 15' superlites on my ke35 coupe.
im still not sure as to wat strut conversion to do..
wat do you have on yours? i want a simple and cost effective option as im not a mechanic or any thing. ive looked at the corona struts wif pug rotors and hilux calipers but shortening the strut is not really some thing i want to do. kinda dodgy.
the TA22 struts with the cressida disks sounds like the best option but im not to sure as to how much power my 2TGEU will be puttin out wen ive got a cam regrind, port the head, its got the 9.8:1 pistons, i also want to get a micro-tech LT-8, larger injectors. ect...

I don't know what the hilux model is exactly. R12? Something like that. Others would know.
If you are going 15" wheels then definatly get the xt130/pug/hilux strut brake rotor combo. There is a lot of info out there and it is the G-O. As far as I know you don't have to shorten the strut.
I have 13's so I am basing everything around the ke55 strut. I can't go the xt/pug etc. combo as it won't fit under the wheels.

cheers for the help mate. illtry find out what hilux that diff is from.
yeah i really do prefer the xt130/pug/hilux strut combo as the rotors ae vented.
probably better for engineering.
have a good 1..
