hey guys...
i'm looking at buying a car for track.. just wondering if i buy a car thats non road registerable, is my only option to take it to the track by trailer or can i get some kind of pass that will allow me to drive to events?

that depends on the class your wanting to play in .. full racing .. well yup - youll need a trailer
foir the stuff dave does or what i want to do you can get limited registratuions for club events , and drive the car - but it still has to be roadworthy

well my main aim at the moment is to just do some track days, hillclimbs, but no full on racing planned for a long time.

The car will have to be CAMS registered.
Check out www.cams.com.au for more deatils.
From what I know, it's easier to have a trailer to tow your car around than to get permission from CAMS everytime to drive to an event. But I'm not sure if this applies to track cars, but it defently applies to rally cars.
