On the subject of wacky ute conversions. Did anyone see in.. some magazine ages back the front of a JZA70 mated to the rear of a hilux? It was crazy long, and looked kind of bizzaro. It's in Australia somewhere.

The hachi roof line is just wrong.
Imagine it as a convertable with just the windscreen shield and no roof/backing.. I think itd be pretty hot.

they would make a good work ute...
if they were real utes it would be tuff as hell...
r34 ute... oh baby beat having a xr6t or xr8 or the likes...
hilux's are pretty boring in my opinion so a work ute the is a jza supra would be fuckign insane.
not only a sports car but practical too, use for tool etc.

And how much do you think these said utes are actually gonna carry, the actual tray space is tiny, two they are all IRS car which means they can't carry a lot anyway. They are merely show utes, to show off a workshops talent or stand out from the crowd.

um if you didnt notice i did type "real utes" meaning decent length ute to fit thing in.
not these lil tiny trays that you could barely fit shit in...
but still i know that sometihng like this is not cheap to do.. not saying it would but. a work ute which is based on a sports car wouldd cool.

Yes but they will be still IRS cars which don't make good utes (in a utility kind of way), ie why do you think Holden brought out the one tonner with its live rear end, tradesman we're shifting to ford as they could carry more. Any sports orientated ute even live rear ones like the Super Pursuit ford have limited carrying capacity, the Maloo can only carry something like 400-500kg, they are merely designed for show ponies.
