I'll take the brake hydraulic setup. Master/slave cylinders (does it have ABS?) etc.

How much do you want?

Just out of curiosity, where was this cut from?

Cheers

email sent.

does it have a bonnet? - smashed up? vents still kinda in shape? could be interested in the vents (if the bonnet's dead) if you can take to the hood with a jigsaw and cut them out Smile

another thing: does it have the samll black rubber spoiler corner pieces affixed to the bottom (corners) of the front bumper assembly... see image:

http://www.pitythafoo.com/st205/205-12.jpg

anything special hiding in the engine bay or on the dash side of things we should know about??

cheers

Yeah, Rollin Imports has very good prices don't they? John is an excellent bloke! He's the one who sourced me my VVT-i 2JZ-GTE with the Getrag 6-speed.

Ed, the brake gear is yours mate Smile It was going to come your way in the end anyways!

I havn't had a close look at all the bits so i need to track down all the hoses to see where tey go.

If you are looking at the engine bay from the front it is a plastic box looking thing located at the top right hand side of the top mount intercooler.

Also have you got the head lights and indicators?

Plastic bash plate covers underneath?

How much would you want for the gearbox with front diff? cause you wont be able to use it in a RWD setup.

Are the intercooler spray jets still on it located behind the bumper?

There is a hose that goes from blue circle to blue circle the one on the top right is the BOV and it bolts into the air box.

Thats right. Looking at those pics it looks like you have them Shane, I think it might be that hose assembly that goes across the front with the 2 grey bits on either end or am i just imagining that thats it.

http://members.iinet.net.au/~shanej/HalfCut/pages/ P0001496.htm

I wouldnt really want to pay much for the gearbox and diff as i dont really need them but it would be nice to have a spare for just incase and shipping to Sydney would really cost an arm and a leg. would you take $100 for them.

Cool1,

You willing to cut the vent mount out of the bonnet? I would like this piece so I can make a mould for my vent to bolt in to...

Also Im interested in the standard blow off valve if you dont need it.

Cool1,

You willing to cut the vent mount out of the bonnet? Otherwise Ill take the whole smashed up bonnet off your hands, if somebody wants the vent, its theirs I only need the bonnet.

Also Im interested in the standard blow off valve if you dont need it.
Is the radiator in alright condition? If so Im interested in taht too with hoses.

Also the timing cover air duct (black rubber thing from the bonnet to timing cover sits on top of rocker cover poking up)
Whats your email address.

Michael

Gary, The thing with the 2 grey plastic bits on either sied is the wireing loom!
I'm looking at about $300 for the box so you a little short on that one!

Mikey, I'm willing to sell you the vent or the whole bonnet if you want it!
The blow off valve is gone!
The radiator is in ok condition with just one small pin hole that has been sealed! I'll be using this for a little while for when i'm testing the engine but you can have it when i'm finished!
I dont think i'll be needing the timing cover air duct so I think you can have it!
My email is shanej@iinet.net.au

mate, i think you found the proportioning valve:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~shanej/HalfCut/pages/ P0001538.htm

its interesting in as much that there appears to be 2 (the one with the yellow dot, and the thing above it?) Razz but whatever, that seems to be them, and i do want them (if youre not going to)

i do just want to have a look on a functioning st205 just to get my head around it, but lets just run with it for now Smile

Shane,
For $300 for the gearbox which is the going rate at an importer id also get warranty. And i wouldnt need to be paying $200 for shipping to sydney id be able to pick it up myself.
Like i said i dont need it but at the right prices id take the stuf off your hands and atleast you get some money for it. How about $200 for the gearbox, diff and drive shafts.

Could you list what you do plan on using so that we know whats not available.

Are you going to be using?
* heat shields?
* Brake master Cylinder
* Clutch master Cylinder
* Clutch slave Cylinder
* Oil\Air Separator
* Intercooler & pump
* ECU

Also let me know how much youd want for any of these items.

I will consider selling the gearbox for $200! Or I would swap for a W58 Very Happy

* heat shields = I dont think i'll be using these
* Brake master Cylinder = Ed has dibs on this
* Clutch master Cylinder = I dont think i'll be needing this either
* Clutch slave Cylinder = I'll need a few weeks to decide
* Oil\Air Separator = Not sure on this one yet
* Intercooler & pump = I wont be needing these in the future(pump is a little broken, will get picture)
* ECU = I'll be needing this for a few months

I keep taking pictures of all the stuff so you can see if you want anything! If you see something just ask, the worst I can say is no.

I dont need a lot of money for this stuff, but as long as it is enough for me to buy a W58 box, a Bellhousing and a few other little bits and peices!

Shane,

So how much are you wanting for the bits i listed that you dont need.

And how about the offer for the box?

GT4Rider,

The intercooler wont fit in your car.
It sits too high and wont fit under your bonnet and your throttlebody where it connects is too small for it to fit into.

Yes and no. Some of the older GT4's didnt have them so i would think that its not a must to have. I'll find out for sure though.

But youll be mounting the engine North South so that duct will be facing the wrong way anyways so you may need to have something custom made.

I'm not in a huge hurry for this stuff as i said earlier i dont really need them but its always good to have spares.

You didnt say how much you wanted for the intercooler.

By way of OEM Air to Air do you mean the top mount intercooler. mounting it on top will get it heat soaked, but if you mount it in the front and just get some plumbing made up you will be right

Yeah front mounted will be good you dont want to go top mount.
Supra intercoolers are pretty cheap.

Jap motorsport has one for $200, is this normal price?

By the way I want to get rid of these heat shields! Who wants them?

$200 sounds like too much to me for an OEM cooler. But i may be wrong. Jap performance are usually a little over priced maybe you can bargain them down.

Ill take the heat shield for $15

There is some info you might like to read on the link below.

http://www.st205.net/frameset.htm

Here are the locations.

Fuel pump relay = relay box connected to radiator middle relay switch of the 3.

EFI Relay = Fuse box located next to left hand guard side. Facing from front it is the relay on the bottom right hand corner.

EFI Fuse = Is the 1st of 3 fuses just to the left of the EFI relay.

ECU Fuse = Is the 2nd from the bottom on the left row above the EFI relay.

I hope this makes sense, if not let me know and i'll get some pics for you. But if you read this whilst your in front of the car it will make sense.

The problem is the loom is not in the car anymore! Neither are the fuse/relay boxes Very Happy

A picture of the main EFI relay and fuel pump relays would be great!
