Yeah sorry dude, that was me
I was in another world - trying to get my 4 year old in the car before he got run over!
My "wtf look" was probably because I only caught a glimpse of your car and was wondering if it was a Group A.
Promise I'll give you a better look next time
Also saw a red ST185 this morning in the city. It was lowered over 17" TRD rims from 7th Gen and a cannon exhaust. Anyone know who owns that one?

Its all good mate
I thought that might have been the reason for the look

Yeah no worries. If I wasn't holding up the people getting to the petrol pump and running late for dinner, I would have come over. Next time!
Speaking of Chisolm BP - must be red ST185 season in Canberra because I spotted another one there last night (leaving as I arrived). It had a more subtle exhaust and 'spokey' style wheels. Anyone know it?

Damo, yours looks better than mine!! And looking good from a distance is probably the most important thing really . Not like mine when they think "hey, it's a white celica... or is it light blue... or both..." I love 28 year old paint .

Sexy ride, forced induction! I was the shifty looking guy staring at your car from the ACTION bus... Buggered wiper motors suck the big one. I had big problems with my Lada wipers a few months back. It involved a short that was the biggest bitch to trace. Anyway, I drove to uni one day in bad rain and peak hour traffic... Scary as all hell... When the windscreen is wet, depth perception is shot!

Yesterday arvo I saw a red ST-185 turning onto Wiluna St. from Ipswich St., and a couple of days ago, I saw an RA23 celica with ST badging in Reid . It was driven by a middle aged lady, so I'm kinda thinking it was original rather than rebadged. It had roofracks too, and was kinda p00 coloured.

If that silver 1st gen celica wasn't forced induction, the only other silver celica I've seen around was a guy in an RA23 + 18RG with a black bonnet and bonnet scoop.
