It may be old age or that I'm just a bit tired and can't figure it out. But just want to know whether the dyno day has been? I think it was proposed for the 13th or 20th, so it may have been this weekend?
If it's next Sat, I won't be able to make it either. But if anyone has a date, and I can, I'd like to check it out.

spew.. crap.. obsenity.. etc
I don't think my car is gonna be in dyno shape.
If I'm lucky - I may be able to get my car back on Friday.. tho its not gonna give me enough time to service and such before Saturday's dyno run.
After sitting in the panel shop for over a month, I don't think the 1G is gonna be in much of a Dyno mood
And can't afford to blow it up just yet.
I should still be there.. but I may have to give up my spot on the Dyno for someone who is all ready to give it a crack..
If you're interested in taking my spot - be there my 10am sharp on Saturday morning.
* note: I haven't paid yet either, so you'll have to pay Rob on the day
*crosses fingers that car is ready earlier*

Nice trophy Rob
For the record my power figure was 286.2hp @ 145kph @17psi (peaked at 18psi tho), all with an auto box
Oh, would also like to thank Adam for his time and effort spent on doing the engine conversion for me, thanks Adz

ben are you still having that cooler pipe problem?? remember bunnings sell custom cooler piping, but for some reason they keep it in the gardening section, obviously they are confused.
Dont always believe what you hear, mine are holding up sweetly for the last 2 years!!!
266hp @ 12psi, not bad for PVC cooler pipes

doh! Shows how little I know about Celicas.. To think I nearly bought a 1977 GT. I suppose you gotta have some regrets.
justcallmefrank I know how you feel. I got the lowest in my motor group.. spewing Well I guess thats the motorvation I need..
damn.. 18psi.. *grumble*... didn't think of that.. *grumble*
Anyway I'm getting some Bendix brake pads on monday. I "think" I got my piping as good as I'm gonna get it. Looks like mild steel hardpipe all the way is whats gonna happen, I'll put a new intercooler in too.
Looking forward to any more OST events, club is picking up I think

I think that I had a boost leak, but boost came on at just over 10 psi and decreased steadily to just over 9 psi.
I am running a stock motor, stock jza70 intercooler, only mods are 3inch catback and 3inch mandrel bent pod filter.
Hey does anyone know where is a cheap place to get mandrel bends in stainless then?

yeah man go to works on albany highway in bentley, they have all diff size mandrel stainless bends for a reasonable price. i think my 3" bends where $27 each for 90 degrees. and they got bigger and smaller. Or bunnings have them in a non rusting material for about $4.50 a piece
