Well i got it dynoed today.... 78RWKW's!!!! At autosport engineering(i am doing workplacement there)...
Stoked!!! I did a new timing belt, water pump, oil change, coolant flush, exhaust gasket, then the boss adjusted all the tps and idle control... Then he chucked it on the dyno for us!!
ANd it pumped out that figure!! He didn't print off a sheet for us but i will get one next week if possible... ANd it is legit!!

Het Webbo - welcome
as you are only 14, well done!
If you are going to fit a CD, LEAVE THE DASH ORIGINAL
Hide the head unit in the glovebox or somewhere which will not take away the originality of the car (which is 30 years old next year!)
Cool Car. just fix up the rear quarter and you will have a cool cruiser
Hey Scotty,
How was Shapel Corby??!!
Did you bring us back a KE20 4 door??

Hey Scott that 1st pic looks very much the same colour as mine, had to have a good look.....2 doors are better....
Well guys I got myself another 20, pics on the new forums in members rides that is open to everyone.
Just been working out costs to do it up
might have to strip my grey on for parts when rego runs out...what a waste of an engineered car but I want the cage and there is no way to get it out without cutting it up and then it is no good if CAMS has to pass it
Man why do things cost soooooo much there is no way to do up one of these thing on a budget, it's hard as shit just to get parts.
My new one kind of fell into my lap but hey it's missing heaps of stuff.Inside I have the steering colum and wheel, and 2 of the plastic parts at the back and that is it, outside is pretty much complete apart from some bits underneath I think.
Anyway new one is white and at the moment it has a touch of "MR N4SA" about it (green boot lid with big alloy wing) it is off that car, also got front spoiler used for racing, not that I will use it in the near future, maybe not at all
sorry for the long rant
Cheers Grant

Hi all,
I have a 1981 KE55 that I have had for a year now and its been a good little car to me, like all KE's are to everyone!
I have recently come across a bit of a problem with her though and figure this thread might be the place to ask questions as there must be hundreds of people in here who have owned one and maye had a similar problem.
Anyways, what I'm finding is that after I run at high revs (I have a 4-KC so anything over 80km/h) that when I come to a stop the engine keeps stalling. It happened for a while and then I went and got it serviced and the guy reckoned he fixed it and although it did run alot better and happen less it still stalled after high revs and now does it more again. I thought it might have been a carby problem but the mechanic said he found it was something else he had to tune and now as it's happening again I think maybe it's the alternator? It happened again last night just driving slowly, not even at high revs when I had the lights on and fan blowing to demist so I thought maybe the extra power draining to run these items might have effected it??
To be honest I dont know much about engines and this is due for rego again soon and I need to get it serviced again for rego and then also to get it tip top for sale in January. If anyone can point me (and the mechanic) in the right direction for what it might be that would be awesome.
Cheers,
Garth.

i have one that is just sitting in my garage and while i have my engine out i thought i might as well put it in. it is alot thicker than the stock one so i thought i might have got massive under steer but i think i will just put it in. is it very hard i was looking at it today and it seemed pretty straight forward. although i gather i will most likely need a wheel alignment after? thanks for your help

You,ve got no rear swaybar cause im guessing you,ve got a leafspring
rear end?!
My ke70 p/van is same but its already got the thickest standard
sway bar in the front(24mm) if i remember correctly
I think lowering would give you better turn in than upgrading sway bay, but if it cost you nothing to change sway bar go for it!
