Yea I had it dynoed recently at 225 hp so its not too far off. I've just been plagued by deteriating intercooler piping as late.
That Soarer that you have is the best color scheme for those cars I seen. Did you do the conversion?
btw yes I am considering pvc

i dunno whats the go
its been throwing a ignitor circuit code, but cant find the problem, car will sometimes run awesome other times real bad. figure not worth spending any money or time sorting out the stock set up since a aftermarket ecu was going in anyway with the big turbo. just means its gotta be done sooner.
so in just over 2 weeks time i should have a better looking graph and fingers crossed, more power

In general they don't, because they don't have a dongle/cable/program there.
I supplied my own, so Lumpy could tune it.
If the other place falls through, I can lend you my dongle/laptop/cable and lumpy will probably tune it.
Not sure if he'll wire it though.

last time i dynoed my car was in 2002, when it was automatic
on speedworks hub dyno it got 239hp at ~8.5psi. i was extremely disappointed but it was a 38degree day so i just hoped that was what caused low figure. (dyno was pretty spot on with most other peoples cars so cant use the "its reading low" excuse )
im hoping now its manual, running ~14-15psi it should make more than that but i havent dyno'd it recently.
before that i did get 250hp on the myaree dyno, but we all know that dyno sheet would only be good for lining the bottom of the bird cage haha.

russ i was running about 12psi when i ran the 13.1 sec 1/4 unfortunantly i was a having a few boost spiking probs so i couldnt really get a clean run on any higher boost, due to fuel cut.
Having said that, the car is currently off the road in my new shed (YAY) getting quite a bit of work done to her, so hopefully i should have her back on the road in 2-3 weeks depending how lazy i am, and then go down the plex and run a more serious time.
Does anyone know what the quickest road regoed 1J mk3 in WA is? or even in Australia? I need something to aim for

ladies ladies, for fu*k sake it is a widebody only reason i have different taillights is coz its a 86 MA70!!!!!!!!!!!! learn yo supras people
Remember it started out as a N/A 7M Auto!!!!! back in the old days of 86.
Anyways TODD hmm well yes after dragging you i most certainly will be doing that bloody clutch, watching my tacho sit on 6500 while my speedo steadily increases is no fun at all.
As for the rest of the mods lets just say they will all be custom and i know none of you boy's will agree with my theories. But time will tell.

im pretty sure it is widebody, unless they made an extra extra narrow body, ive had mine along side a narrow body and the differences where pretty obvious.
Just coz its 86 everyone assumes it must be narrow, maybe its been changed or modded or sumtin in da past, but it certainly is no longer a narrow body, if it ever was. Maybe i should put mine along side yours, but im 99.9% sure it will be the same.
The lights are certainly different, and although im not 100% i prefer mine to yours and other later models, i like em coz they are different and would never signify a 1J as a standard motor in that model.
What was the quickest time you ended up running down the 1/4? and on what boost? Im not 100% sure but i think i have run a bit quicker than most other mk3's with similar boost. i got a few lil secrets up ma sleeve, but then again no one seems to agree with my ideas and methods, but i seem to be gettin good results so far. My next run down the strip should prove my methods right or wrong anyways. looking forward to it.

best run of my 3 runs was 14.1 on my high quality wangli tyres running about 1bar.. had some wildly high 60ft time and didnt get tracting till 3rd
other 2 runs one i got locked out of second, the other one got locked out of third... so gave up with tail between legs and went home listenbign to my diff whine at me all the way home. Im not going down again till ive had my diff fixed or found a 2 way for a reasonable price.

to do a 13.1 with your power youd need to be well under 2 second 60ft time.
my 60ft time was 2.287 seconds, et was 14.059 second with terminal speed of 160.93kph.
it was a really lousy launch, with more pratice and decent tyres i reckon i could do maybe a 13.5 best case scenario but car just doenst have means to go past it unless i get a Fuel cut defender, afc only allows me up to 16psi with a -5% accross the board lean off. was annoying when i had lukes fmic and piping in with my straight through exhaust it just hit boost cut in 2nd,3rd,4th,5th all the time and that was with no controller was annoying but if i couldve wapped an fcd on it wouldve been interested cos it was pretty quick.
hopefully my cooler should be going in soon when mr adz gets round to cranking out my piping, i have 2 fcd's floating around just been hesitant to put them in as i sort of like that safety barrier that i have with factory fuel cut... sort of like the speed cut i sometimes wish i didnt get hte speed cut remover as ive had a few close calls but god its so much more fun than being stuck at 180kph

speed cut ay? some of us dont have that good ol 1J conversions Id be stuffed coz i know im going be peakin past 180 next time i run. Yeah need to find my slips to confirm times. Traction will always be an issue i think, especially since i want to run my times on street tyres.
Ahh well 12's are certainly within reach, gunna try for 11's eventually, then 10's hahaha where does it stop ay, maybe wen my lil turb wheels come loose
