I am selling my celica.
i have spent bout $10,000 on it all up.
-new paint(2pac,3 months ago)
-new pedders suspension(racing springs,shocks, rubbers etc...)
-reconditioned 18rc(not my choice,50000kms) - GONE
-extractors, 2inch exhaust) - GONE
-reconditioned gearbox(W50) - GONE
-14in wheels, new tyres
-custom interior(new carpet, dashpad, door trims gt4 seats spitfire guages, wood steerer)
-central locking, immobiliser alarm
-stereo(pioneer player, JBL gto speakers front and rear.
-6 months registration
-some spares(1ggte bits and celica bits)
-very clean car
-$4500-$5000 neg.

if its too much, how much would you pay for it?i'm not saying i'd sell it for that much just curious.
the pics dont give it anything. the car is alot better real life.

in all honesty it's worth what someone is gunna pay for it. I already miss my old celica.. and would loved to have had something like this come up but it would find it hard to spend over 3 grand on and unmodified celica. really if it's rust free you could get 3.5 for it... all depends on the desperation of the buyer and the condition of the car.
I'll just be happy in my corona when the 1g goes into that.

Nice car, i thought it a little odd when i read the first few posts with the 18rc in it then i got further down and found out the full story. Have you done any other mods to the motor, like boost or anything.

yeh well when i got the motor the boost had a tee bar on it, when i took it for the first drive it was still tee bared, but i put it back to standard boost. if i was keeping the car i would put a boost controller on it and lift the boost up.

i dont really know, i just know if i keep it i will just keep pouring money into it, plus i might be moving up to brisbane at the end of the year. i also want to buy a jza70 supra.
as for a price, well it owes me alot more than what i'm gonna get for it.
how about $9000neg i dont really know what people will pay for a car that someone else has already built.

Good luck with the sale dude, i think u might have a bit of trouble selling her, the power is there but i think the fact that its a 28 will make it hard. I dunno about up north but in VIC the coupes are all the rage. Who ever buys it off u will have a love affair with the hatchback celicas. Well thats my opinion and 2 cents whorth anyway. Nice clean lookin car though i might add. I think u should consider keeping it, unless of course u dont love it....

Half plugged's 162 is a very tidy sleeper mate,
of all the NA 4 cyls that have lined up against my JZA70 he has done the best, by far!

i still have it,
it sits in the garage waiting for me to rebuild and supercharge the 18RG,
i bent the speedy rims in brisbane recently, *sigh* but i went and got some other 17x7 rims the very next day, ill have to update my thread in the readers rides

yeah mate its quicker than the average V8 commodore and skyline ,
i put it on the dyno and it kept breaking traction, the most acurate reading we got was 149.4 rwkw@5500 rpm. so peak power would be around 170, says the dyno man here in canberra.
