Hi,
I used to be the Site/Operations Manager of the Front Office (Trading Floor) of a major Financial Institution. Then we got outsourced and the outsourcers didn't like me and I got retrenched. Fortunately it was damn good money and the payout closed off all debts, including the house (which is way cool).
Now I'm unemployed and spend my time playing with my Celica and trashing French web sites and war gaming and building electronics things and computers.
Luckily my wife still works, so I take her money now. I'm on the hunt for a new job so I can get my car fully restored to how I want it and finish my pilots license and to import another RA25 GT2000 or TA27 GT1600.

I'm not sure i think something like that, I get a commision so every ticket i sell makes me money. And yeah i think my boss does get get some money from it as he has been giving me bonuses flat out so yeah i dunno. I walked in this morning and the girl at the office gives me a $100 she said the boss was impressed with my 1st day !

i have a typical administration job, being female, under paid, rudely treated, expected to be a miracle worker and do the workload of 5 people. normal company that treat us girls like dirt, take our hard work to the board of directors, and accept the credit as their own. winge, winge and winge.
Why is it you guys get away with better pay packets and more respect when doing the same job????

yeh i just finished 3.5 years studying economics and am a nightfill manager at woolies. not bad pay for what it is, but also not good considering my qualifications. hopefully going to be getting a graduate placement with public service soon and then try to get into an ongoing position. otherwise, everything is just way too hard to get into apparently unless you know someone...... so much for qualifications
