1g for 18rg Sun, 20 April 2003 07:12 Go to next message
i have a 23 with a 1g in it but i like fours. so i want to power a 22 with an 18rg or at least put one in my 23. would anyone like to trade or make an offer or suggestion. i have all things needed for the complete 1g 23 transplant. from surge tank to ecu/loom.
any hints from someone that has done an 18rg 22 job would be great to

a bit nervous i guess. and its still not a good shell if i found one of them and i hade the money id do it that way. pluss 22's are just that much better. fours are what i like. and as for you guys who are interested give me more info and i will consider make an offer. but it had better be good cos a lot of work like chuck said has gone into it and the speedo and a new gearbox extension is the only things left before engineering and rego. a matter of 150 bucks. and my girlfriend wants it pretty bad.
people who are really keen give me a call today or the weekend on

U still after the swap for the 18rg. I have a 18rgu with twin carb. Lumpy cam not ground down. Apparently 350 lumpy cam whateva that means. I had it in my 76 celica. I have sports clutch. Dont have a 5 speed yet but could get one easy enough. Would the 1ggte fit in a sa63 celica coz thats my project at the moment. Let me know.
