Hey,
Im selling my, 1998 Toyota Chaser Tourer V, (JZX100), it's a genuine TRD Edition, 5 speed manual.
1JZ-GTE Single turbo VVT-i (2.5 litre 6cly RWD)
TRD 320kph Dash
TRD 3 inch Catback Exhaust
TRD Airfilter
TRD LSD
Bilstein Shocks
Apexi AVC-R (Blue Screen)
18in DTM Blitz wheels
$3500 worth of sounds (CD/MD amp sub etc)
This car is in immaculate condition, has done 50,000kms, these cars are very rare in manual, (I think the only one in NZ?)
They are huge in Japan at the moment, and have awesome potential for big HP (hello T78!!)
The also look damn pimp!!!
Asking NZ $29,995 ono, which is damn cheap considering these are still worth 2million yen just to buy.....
Can ship this car to AUS

Hey Thanks guys for all the compliments, It does look like a cross between a Magna and a BMW, except in real life it's longer than both of them, as for the guy who asked how much it is to import to aus, i think freight is about $1500NZ plus what ever duties/tax on top of that.

im pretty sure noone complies them yet but it should be done in a month or so. id expect about $3000 for them to compliance it. it sounds really cheap to start with but in the end it would prob cost as much as getting one over here and give you a lot of headaches with paperwork and such, unfortunately. bloody nice car though i cant believe they gave us the avalon instead of this!

Guys the ones for sale in Australia (lady sx photo) are actually JZX90 models. They started in '92 and finished in '95. The JZX90 are twin turbo and not VVTi.
DECPTNs car is a JZX100, current model in Japan. Its a single turbo VVTi.
There is a current application pending for the compliance on these cars and we should know in about 2 weeks.
My friend has just bought a black JZX100 with 2JZGTE, T51R(dynoed at 680hp at the fly) and 6 speed in Japan and waiting on the approval to put it on the boat. The only problem is that the SEVS rules say that a car must be 100% factory, from wheels to roof.
We will have to wait and see.

JZX110 is actually the current model and has been since 2001.
But yeah JZX100 is really nice, do doubt lighter than a 110 model.
I have been thinking buying one of these maybe a better bet than an IS200 with 2jz-gte but the IS200 interior is proberbly better, not to mention a lighter car, and sold locally.

For everyone who wants this car (or one like it) These can now be complied in australia It will cost about $6000 to do so
I was looking at one today and they look as good in real life as they do in those photos. The rear end definatly looks like a BMW (so cops wouldn't know the diffrence)
Can you send me photos of the interior???
I'm Tentativly interested. I need to look into taxes

Hey,
Sorry to say but I have had a change of heart, I have decided not to part with my car, as I can't find anything else that I want to replace it, as I have driven an R34 GTR (which is what I was going to buy) and really for the effort/expense it didn't really light my fire, and at the end of the day I think the chaser looks nicer in a subtle kind of way, thanks to danners for hosting the pictures, and will keep you guys posted on the progress of the big build up eg 600hp+ daily driver:)

a 2jz bottom end to end up with a 1.5jz
Have fun, sounds like a great car. But the r34 gt-r was more accessable when i was looking in australia, and it did light my fire !

I've found a car to replace you chaser.
I'll swap your chaser for a red RA28 celica! Sounds fair to me!
