Hey all,

I have a 1G-GZE that has been reconditioned etc etc... just recently i have dicovered that there are several bits and pieces missing from my engine like the ABV, the clutch mechanism vaccum sensor thingy, supercharger mounting brackets, and various cooling pipes etc etc... I have recently secured a GTE engine that is not running and basically what i want to know is can i swap the manifolds from the GTE onto the GZE and expect it work properly. As i have heard that the GZE is 8:1 compression and the GTE 8.5:1. I have an aftermarket computer aswell.

Thanks
Anthony.

The cam profiles could be different, just a thought, the gze makes power a lot lower in the rev range but that might just be the blower.

You may come across some difficulties with plugs being different on all the ancilleries such as alternator, injectors, ignitor, sensors etc. Check it out before you take any spanners to it.
