I just took this off my car (1990 Celica). I think its got around 100000km on it. My car was making clicking noices so i thought it was the diff inside the gearbox. The wheel bearing ended up being being stuffed to the point my wheel hit the guard so im not sure if there was anything ever wrong with the diff. I ended up replacing the box with an MR2 turbo one that can take the power of my engine and got a new wheel bearing. Most likely the gearbox is fine but im not 100%. The synchos are good as well.
