Well I have 3S-GE celica and I take it to DYNOTUNE Braddon. They've always done alright by me and I know a lot of other people who would vouch for them.

That is if you like to look after your car, otherwise I am sure some one can tell you a cheaper place.

Ok, delete this post if its not allowed.

My question is this: I have to transfer ownership on my new car which requires it going over the pits, now are there any mechanics in the ACT who will pass a car with an exposed pod filter or should i try and rig the airbox from my dads applause on for the morning which i have to pass the inspection?

Why do you have to go over the pits? Is the car modified? For example, have you changed engines, put big brakes on it or changed wheels?

If not, then you simply take to an authorised inspector and have them perform the inspection.

Not modified, so i can go to an authorised inspector. Just changing from NSW to ACT, the people at the shopfront told me i have to go over the pits to do this.

In that case i should be Laughing 'ing with the pod.

I would not go to the trouble of changing anything just yet. Present the car at an authorised inspection station and then change what they advise. If they say the car is fine then you will be a lot happier. If they advise you on the ram pod, ask them what you are required to do to make it pass rego. Follow there lead and then go back to the same place. Don't forget you must return within 30 days of your initial inspection or another inspection fee is payable.
