yeah i've had a look at their website, but they don't seem to have any prices for the 1ggte. I guess i'll have to stop being so lazy and email them 
I'm sure if i'll get one or not, trying to compare the costs of the 1g with the costs of rebuilding an 18rg

I can highly recommend Rolin. Don't take much notice of the web site, they're getting new stuff in all the time. Pick up the phone and talk to them!
A friend of mine bought a GA70 front cut from Rolin not long ago, and it was around the $2k mark from memory.

I'd want to have at least $6k in the bank before I embarked on such a project. You could probably do it for less, but you never know in advance what's going to happen during the course of the project (eg broken/missing parts which need replacement).
