I loved it, better than the first as it had a stronger storyline. Not enough racing in it though which kinda pissed me off.
Oh yeah, also didnt get to see enough of the skyline
Peace

The first one was better... Had more racing but atleast this time, they actually had corners with some drifting ...

Did you guys ever see them on the brakes or going down gear?
When they went past the 1/4 mile and started to go around corners, that was cool. But it didn't last, and most of the time was shown changing gear, and stepping on the pedal, than showing what the cars were doing.
Definately better depth of story. I'm so glad they didn't use the NAWZ in the V8s, would be going too far.

I think the plot and character development could have been further enhanced by some lesbian scenes between Suki & Fuentez. Aside from that obvious shortfalling, it was a cool enough flick.

I enjoyed the film. The story line is more sophisticated than the first movie but there was less emphasis on car modifying this time around. You got to see the engine bay of the EVO 8 for half a second but no details on how tricked up the engine was.
So which drag meet to I have to go to see all these chicks in bikini's and high heels? What about Da Club?

To be honest, I thought it was a disaster. I liked the first one better, and lots of this movie looked quite digitally enhanced, how they kept flicking to the pedals was heaps frustrating. I just didn't buy it nearly as much as the first.
I read some stuff in the Tele about how they went through 245k of cars in the bridge jump scene, so obviously there was a lot of effort in making it look as real as poss. BTW if you read that I think they put a typo in the paper about the lancer, as they said it could do the 1/4 mile in 4.9 seconds. I hope that is a typo...
The freeway driving was fun and stuff, and I thought the plot was super lame, and yes very very ricey.
But I guess all we expect from these movies is an excuse for street car races, and that is what we got!

I went in expecting an amusing but bad movie, and I wasn't disappointed.
I think the evo changing from top of 3rd gear to reverse (to do that cool backwards driving thing) was fairly silly...
I dunno, they barely mention anything about engines/cars etc... which I guess is great for the general public, but I appreciate the detail of the mods in the first one (even if it did include a motec exhaust system)

Another reason why I hate living 300k's from the nearest bigish town...300k's from a cinema with new movies. We only just got that one about Leonardo De Caprio and the roberies...and that cinema with that is 100k's away.
I'm dying here!!!!

Yep.....501 including me now
I have a 12 month contract with work here then off to London. It is going to be a bit of a shock going from 500 to millions.
I sent a picture of the POPULATION 500 to all my mates back in Byron and they all laughed. It is a photo of the sign and what looks to be desert and a road. Great pic

I think that the first one was better the cars were faster and looked better but the chicks in this one killed the chicks in the first one. i cant beleave the end of the race when the supra and the skyline jump the bridge it cost them 300,000 just for that scene

It was more dissappointing than the first one.
Down changing to accelerate, when doing about 7500rpm already mmmmm. Flinging the car around and selecting reverse is a really cool move, but at freeway speed please. Oh and like a Yenko SC Camaro wouldn't come back past you, or the Dodge Challenger. I know which car I would rather have been in.
I personally liked the stunt driving of the first movie better.
Maybe like Gary suggested, I may be too critical, maybe need to let go of reality a bit more to enjoy a movie of it's kind.
At least it will give the ricers a few more ideas as to what is needed for a fully Sik car bro.

pretty good - 2nd one had a bit more storyline than the first but i prefer the firsts Street racing theme much better
the jump scene was a bit hard to believe - but alas thats hollywood - and they didnt have as many REAL car stunts like in the first one
It still screams trilogy , seeing the movies going to rake it in again + is getting good reviews ..
As said paul walkers already hinted he'd do a third ..seeing his character seems to be " the man " in miami - howsabout something like vin diesel coming back there and having the final matchup ..
The black fella who played the sidekick was a bit soft compared to vin diesel's character in the first as well ..
Anyway - bring on the rice - its a good thing to veg out too

Classique71, I reckon they should bring back Vin Diesel...
Stop wasting money on Neons and buy Vin Diesel into the movie...

I'm glad some people thought what i thought about the chicks....what is it with the two Fast and Furious movies and their actresses? they seem to have some deformation in some way
Suki with her deformed head & Fuentez with the occasional 'man' look on some angles
