I have a 2T-G, and I want some performace cams for it. Preferably rewelds that maintain lift, or maybe regrinds. About 290 degrees I think, maybe 304 on inlet? e-mail me if you got something.

Give Camshaft Engineering a call in Brisbane , I Had my cams reground from them an it cost me $85 including freight , That was about 8 years ago so they would be more now but at that time it was very cheep , the grind I got was 288 degree on both with .400" lift , I put these cams into a 2tg/3t hybrid and pulled a 14.8 in the TA22 .

tighe engineering in brisbane do hard face as does camtec in sydney and clive cams in melbourne ,also remember when you just do aregrind you will loose heaps off the base circle ,then you will have to get shims made up that are about 4mm thick ,where hard faced cam s only take off about 10thou in most cases also if the cam is 2 hot it will crap to drive so think of what you really wont cause most power wont be to 5000 if it is a 1600 with the specs you are talking about ,im running 296 duration and they are 266 at 50 thou so nothing to 5000 and thats a 2 liter 3sge engine and it goes out to 8800 rpm

You have just got my memory going. When wade ground my first lot of cams they forgot to weld them first. The base circle is wrong on one of the cams. So I have good 1-584 grind cam for sale. $75 + freight. Wade can grind a mate for it. I will give you the cam that is incorrect so it can be welded and ground correctly.
