I could get a 1ggte for less that price, i have done the sums, around 5k if i do most of it myself (too much for me) drive away. Brand new 18rg (bored block) and extractors, 2 year garantee $2600, drop it in myself bolt on existing 2 inch exhaust and drive away. I relize the price is a bit steep but thats coz im in tas too.

And just to think, Mine has extractors, twin solex's and was going to part iwth it for $800! Its only been in since October 1999! thats like 40,000Kms ago!
Fucxk that idea off, im keeping it! I would be cheaper injecting mine than a complete package with injection!
I can get a 3GTEU turbo, with loom, computer etc. etc. everything, for $1900! And thats in Adelaide!
Hmmm Ben

The place im getting my engine from quoted me a 18rgeu import for $1800(bullshit price, but coz were in TAS), fu@k that, i would rather spend the extra $800 for a virtually brand new 18rg which has about 10 more kw than the efi version.

18R-Gs do go for around $750 in Adelaide. I did a ring around a while ago trying to find prices. 18R-GEUs go for less than 18R-Gs.
