should be legal
from rta website
VSI06 - guidelines for light viechle modifications
page 3 of 8
mono constructed 6 cyl originally - supercharged or turbocharged
max allowable engine capacity =
in ml original weight(kg) * 4
1200 x 4 = 4800ml
so a 3 litre engine is allowable by heaps as long as its engineerable

You fixed them up yet Norbie?!

Fixed? Well... I replaced one of the fans with a bigger one (aircon fan from an old Skyline), but it's still a bit dodgy.

Anywhere between $3000-$7000
The difference can be quite large between really good and really bad too.
Watch out for hatch rust as im sure you are aware from your celica.

Although some people pay up to $10k for one But, personally, it doesn't matter how clean an example it is, they aren't worth that much!
I think you'll find a Mk2 Supra weighs closer to 1300kg as well. Should be 1275kg on the rego papers.

I'd rather pay what he did for a 1JZGTE Supra with decent suspension...than $10k for a stocker with an auto.

im pretty sure the 2jz MA61 is the route im gonna take.
is there an engineer on these pages i wanna know a few things, mainly if a larger transmission tunnel is made and welded in will it be legal.

One thing, if you are planning to run the 6-speed (I can't think of another reason you'd have to widen the tunnel) then one other thing to remember is the stick will come out roughly where your handbrake is.
