A/C valve Mon, 01 July 2002 00:48 Go to next message
Hey guys i'm after an Air Con valve, it sits under the radiator overflow (top right of the engine bay looking at the car).

Has three inputs....a large one from the compressor, another large one going into the firewall and a tiny one coming from the firewall next to the large hose....

Its off and MX-62 Cressida (81') but I would think that the valve would have been on the MA-61 supras and Crowns as well....

Cheers
Wilbo

There are some at pick and payless in Blacktown in the old cressidas and shit. I got one there myself from an 82 cressida for the MA61. Quite surprizingly considering the toyota dealer told me I would never find one.
It is a little different in shape but all toyota air con valves have the same 3 inputs so they are all adaptable with a little handy pipe work.
Find a wrecking yard that has heaps of old cressidas and you will find one guaranteed, nearly every second cressida has A/C.
I paid $15.00.

Ps. dont get the black ones they leak.
