CRACKERJACK LAWN BOWLS TOURNAMENT 3/8/03 this sunday!!! Mon, 19 May 2003 14:13 Go to next message
Greetings Toymodders,
On Sunday 3rd August 2003 The Toymods Crackerjack Lawn Bowls Tournament will begin at Castle Hill Bowlo, Castle Street, Castle Hill.

The first Heat will be played between 10am to 12noon. After that a BBQ lunch will be put on by Toymods at the event.
Once lunch is eaten, heat 2 will commence until around 4pm followed by awards ceremony where trophies will be given for skills displayed on the green.

Sausage Sandwich $2.50ea
Cold drinks $1.50ea discounts for TMCC financial members.

Cost: $15pp for the day of Bowls, which includes Bowls Hire and use of the green, aswell as professional tips from staff.

This is definetely a different event from the norm, make sure you all wear flat shoes (if possible), and bring your Cressidas.

Cant wait for this one.

Lawn bowls has been confirmed on Sunday 3rd Audust 2003. This will be the August event. Sorry to the guys that had taken days off work. i did say though TBC. Castle Hill bowlo had booked a group before us who had more people attending after we booked, so we wouldnt get a chance out on the green. 3/8/03 is the soonest Sunday we can have it. Sorry, but hopefully you/ll all be there.

I teach kiddies sunday school till about 10.10am over at Caso Bapos near Maccas on Showground rd, so I should be able to come around straight afta.

Damn - I was just reading the Supp-Regs this morning and noticed the same thing too! Sad

Michael - What car are you down there with?

I'm thinking I might leave Batemans fairly early and try to still make it back in time for most of the Bowls day.. (Hell - I made it back from Narooma for SuperCruise, which was a much earlier start, so it should be do-able Very Happy )

What an awesome day!! Very Happy

Jesse and I had a great time. The weather was beautiful, the bowling was fun, and the pizzas were nice and fattening. Cool

I think I was the only person to bring a set of bowls with me, and it was good seeing a few people get dressed up in the whites.

A big thanks goes out to Dave for organising the day. I think everyone had an enjoyable time, and I'll definitely go along again if another day is organised in the future. Smile
